How to add and design your Webydo Blog feed

To view your main Blog Feed page - click on the Blog Page button located on the Manage Posts page. 

To add a blog feed to any other page, the element can be found in the elements panel. 

 

Use the Properties Panel to edit the design of your feed. 

 

Editing your Blog Feed

 

Categories

You are able to choose specific categories to be listed on each blog feed. 

Click on the + icon to choose which categories to add or remove from the feed. 

 

 

Posts and Columns

Use these settings to edit the number of posts to appear on each page of the feed, as well as edit the number of columns for desktop and mobile breakpoints. 

 

 

Main Image Settings

Here you can edit the fitting as well as the size of your image that displays within the feed. 

* If you would like to change this photo: the option is available in the Blog Properties panel from the Content Mode of the post itself. * 

 

 

Date, Title, and Description Settings

You are able to turn off each of these functions from the feed.

Use the Text Style drop down to select your desired paragraph style. This style must already exist, and the text takes all settings associated with that style. (including color, if the text is centered or not)

Use the Date Format drop down to select how you would like your dates displayed.

Use the Title and Description sections to control the text styles as well as the number of lines of text displayed in the feed. 

 

 

Read More

The read more button is automatically linked for you to the post's page. 

You are able to edit the text displayed in the link, as well as the color and hover color. 

Use the Text Style drop down to select your desired paragraph style. This style must already exist, and the text takes all settings associated with that style. (including color, if the text is centered or not) 

 

 

Separator and Pagination

There is padding in between your posts automatically. This is called the Separator. 

Here you are able to edit the color as well as size of the space. 

In the Pagination tab, you have the option to turn it off.
