How to Link Elements

This article will explain how to link all the different elements within the Webydo Studio.

Image, Shape, Hover Effects, Buttons and 3D Parallax Elements

Look for the Link To dropdown option in the Properties Panel to set the link.

Page

Link this image to another page on your site. Select your page from the second drop-down menu. 

Link this image to a page on another site. A box will appear where you can enter the address of the external page.

 (This is only available for image or gallery elements)

This will enable you to make the image enlargeable by clicking on it.

1. Upload the image in the full, large size

2. Make the image smaller, Use the zoom option to adjust the thumbnail
3. Link to "pop-up"
4. Publish to test and click on the image to see the effect;

Anchor

Link this image to an anchor point on the page. Select your anchor from the second drop-down menu. To learn how to create an anchor, click here.

Text Element

Double click to enter into the text box. Highlight the text you would like to link, then click on the link icon. 

A new window will appear for your Link Properties.
When adding a Link, you can choose from several options. The content of the Link Properties window will change according to you choice: 

Page

Link this image to another page on your site. Select your page from the second drop-down menu. 

Url

Link this image to a page on another site. A box will appear where you can enter the address of the external page.

Anchor

Link this image to an anchor point on the page. Select your anchor from the second drop-down menu. To learn how to create an anchor, click here. 

Email

Set a link to a specific email address, edit the subject and the content of the email.

File

Upload a file and enable users to access it through a link in the website.

Setting Style of Text

When setting a link, you can also select it’s style from the available styles. You can create and add your own custom style for links. This is something that we will be able to do using the the Paragraph Styles window and the Paragraph Properties panel.

If you leave the style as default, it will look like this

To change it, double click on your link to re-open the Link Properties window. And using the Style dropdown choose your desired paragraph style. 

Linking Gallery Images

The following galleries allow you to link individual images: Full Width, Fluid Grid, Fixed Grid, Image Rotator, Logo Rotator, Thumbnails and Slide Show.
Click on the manage icon in the Properties Panel or double click the gallery element to open up the editing window.
Use the Link To drop-down menu on the bottom right to link each image. 

Page

Link this image to another page on your site. Select your page from the second drop-down menu.
